Great leadership is about balancing vision, people, and process. When these elements are out of alignment, efficiency suffers. That’s why I take a flexible approach, adapting my leadership style to meet the unique experience, confidence, and needs of each team member. I follow the Situational Leadership (Hersey-Blanchard) Model, which enables me to meet people where they are and support their growth effectively.
Here’s how I approach it:
• Directing – For those new to a role, I provide clear guidance to ensure they feel confident and supported.
• Coaching – As they gain experience, I offer direction while encouraging their input and fostering collaboration.
• Supporting – For capable individuals who need a confidence boost, I step back to empower them.
• Delegating – When someone is fully confident and capable, I trust them to take the lead.
This method builds trust, fosters growth, and keeps the team engaged. By providing the right support at the right time, people feel more motivated, productive, and successful.
I also believe in Value-Based Management (VBM)—making strategic decisions that prioritize long-term success. Every project, initiative, and investment should align with both business objectives and sustainable growth. For process management and improvement, I rely on the DMAIC framework (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). This structured approach ensures processes are optimized effectively and improvements are sustained over time.
For me, leadership isn’t about being in charge—it’s about knowing when to lead, when to guide, and when to step back. By combining adaptability with a value-driven mindset, I help teams and businesses grow in ways that are both meaningful and sustainable.
